AFC Pride
The Ali Forney Center was founded in 2002 as a 24 hour, full service center for homeless and at-risk LGBTQ+ youth to find housing, resources, and community. So when they came to us in need of a way to raise donations due to recent federal funding being revoked, we were more than happy to help make a difference.
We concepted a look and feel for their Pride Month campaign, and sought to reimagine the typical rainbows and glitter into something that struck a chord with the realities and weight of what pride means today, especially for the future of this community.
We got to work creating social assets, out of home, and even some magazine placements (more on those in the coming weeks as new stuff pops up – so stay tuned). But easily the craziest thing was a placement IN TIMES SQUARE. All in all, it was an honor getting to learn more about this awesome organization, and even better to help them keep making a difference in the midst of so much adversity. Another addition to the list of coolest things I’ve ever been a part of.
